Global Research firm IDC came out
with report on Indian Smartphone Industry and projecting 112 Mn Smartphone
shipment in 2016. The bearish tone is an indication that Smartphone Sector is
on the saturation point and replacement cycle is keeping the segment running.
The entry of Global brand in
India post slowdown in Chinese Smartphone market and subsequent flow of
investment encouraged may analyst by the end of 2015 but the change in market
dynamics and the total addressable market constraint impacted the sale of
Smartphone.
I would like to point out that
